After several months of having no inspiration what so ever, I have finally posted some new photos. Most of it is pretty grim but the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Auschwitz I (the museum) provided a very good source of inspiration.
So, feel free to let me know what you think of the pics.

Thanks! =D

Hi, thanks for dropping me a line. 'Holy Ghost' was an installation at Urbis, a gallery in Manchester. My 'Eurocultured' series was taken in Manchester too. Unfortunately I had to leave before the graffiti boards were finished, but I'm happy with some of the pictures I got. Went to Crosby Beach near Liverpool at the weekend, where there are 100 identical figures planted in the sand and out to sea, so might post my best shots at the weekend.

How did you do in your AS exams?

Watched 'The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas' a few days ago and felt like looking at your concentration camp photos again. Each time I go back to them I like them more.

Hi Aimee

Those melted plastic dolls are weird, aren't they?! There was a gallery in Las Palmas called La Regenta that always had interesting shows on. I used to stop there on the way home from giving English classes at companies in the city.

Are you still taking pictures? I developed a roll of film the other day to find that I'd used the wrong speed and all the pictures were horrible and grainy. I'm still getting over the disappointment...

Out Of Sight was taken after a hair-raising half-hour drive down narrow country lanes in pursuit of 10 hot air balloons I had watched take off! You can just about see one on the horizon.
